BRYANT PRANBOONPLUK

Bryant Pranboonpluk is a sophomore at Yale University studying Political Science and Psychology, with interests in foreign policy and voter behavior. He is originally from Los Angeles, California. Bryant grew up closely connected to the Thai community, an experience that shaped his global perspective and commitment to cross-cultural engagement. At Yale, Bryant serves as the Secretary General of Yale Model United Nations China, which brings educational experiences centered around focus policy to students in China and the broader East Asian region. He's also a Peer Liaison at the Yale Asian American Cultural Center, mentoring first-year students as they transition into university life. Bryant is excited to develop a deeper understanding of Thai-US relations and gain hands-on experience in Washington, DC!
HANNA LINDSLEY

Hanna Lindsley is a second-year student at the University of Oregon pursuing a major in Political Science. In Eugene, Hanna is currently interning for Lane Council of Governments in the Transportation Options team, where she supports campaign marketing and public outreach. Hanna serves as Social Media Coordinator for the Thai Student Association at UO and represented the university at the ATSA Career Expo in Bangkok, Thailand, connecting thousands of prospective students with international education opportunities. Hanna hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of public policy and political action, and is interested in furthering her knowledge of global engagement and international affairs.
NATALIE HOGLUND

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans
Natalie Hoglund is a second-year student in the dual degree program at Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, she also grew up in Boston and Madrid. She is currently studying Political Science at Sciences Po, with a concentration in Latin American and Iberian Studies. This summer, Natalie looks forward to gaining practical exposure to American politics and Thai foreign policy. Fluent in English, Thai, French, and Spanish, she brings a global perspective and a strong commitment to public service and international engagement.

Kayla Roong is a Political Science student graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a Thai American, her background has shaped her passion for advocating for underrepresented communities and her interest in pursuing a career in law. She is excited to join the TANIP program with the US-Asia Institute and continue building cross-cultural connections this summer.
RENEE HILLBOLDT

Renee Hilboldt is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan. She double-majored in International Studies with a concentration in International Security, Norms, and Cooperation and Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. A Thai-American dual citizen, she was born and grew up in Hong Kong before moving to the United States for boarding school, shaping her interest in U.S.–Asia relations and cross-cultural engagement. She is particularly interested in diplomacy and hopes to contribute to strengthening relationships between the United States and Southeast Asia.
