The Thai-American National Internship Program (TANIP), which takes place every summer, provides eight Thai-American students with the opportunity to come to D.C. to gain an insider's look into and experience with the policymaking process. It is sponsored by the Royal Thai Embassy in consultation with USAI.
Our Internship Program gives hands-on experience for students interested in U.S.-Asia relations. Through education, practice, and exchange, it is our goal to help interns become future leaders.
The US-Asia Institute's Congressional Circle is an alumni association of current and former Congressional advisors who have participated in USAI programs including off-the-record briefings and delegations to the region over the past 30 years.
