The second session of the 2017 ASEAN 101 series featured Mr. Ernie Bower, President and CEO of BowerGroupAsia, as the keynote speaker. He discussed the economic significance of ASEAN and highlighted recent political developments in each of the ten ASEAN countries. About The Series
The Congressional Caucus on ASEAN in partnership with the U.S.-Asia Institute, is hosting the inaugural ASEAN 101 Seminar Series in the summer of 2017. The three-session introductory series brings experts to Capitol Hill to introduce and discuss critical aspects of the Southeast Asian nations and their economic and strategic significance. All sessions are open only to Congressional staff and include time for Q&A with the audience.
